Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy (CRT) is the process of relearning cognitive skills that have been lost or altered as a result of a brain injury of otherwise cognitively impaired individuals to restore normal functioning. If normal functioning cannot be restored, than new skills can be taught to enable the person to compensate for their lost cognitive functions. Our neuropsychologist is specifically trained in the brain and can help individualize a program of specific skills training and practice plus metacognitive strategies.
